Tuesday... Some sunshine is possible in the morning, otherwise look for the clouds to thicken throughout the day with light snow developing in the evening. Highs in lower 30s.  An inch or two of snow is possible Tuesday night.
Wednesday... Periods of mainly light snow... turning breezy and a little colder. An additional 1 to 3 inches of accumulations possible. High around 30.
Thursday... Generally cloudy and cold with occasional lake effect snow showers or flurries. Highs in the mid 20s.
Friday... A little dim sunshine could occur in the morning ahead of a strengthening clipper-type low pressure system and Arctic cold front. Accumulating lake-enhanced snow will develop in the afternoon and evening and continue through Friday night. Evening high briefly around 30.
Saturday... Windy and sharply colder with locally heavy lake effect snow showers. Blowing and drifting snow could occur especially from the Grand Rapids area westward into the counties near Lake Michigan. Temperatures will fall through the teens with a west to northwest wind gusting over 30 mph. Wind chills will be below zero!
Sunday... Breezy and very cold with lake effect snow showers in the lakeshore counties... partly sunny with scattered flurries farther inland. Highs only in the teens.
Monday... More accumulating snow developing during the afternoon and evening. Highs in the lower 20s.  Bitterly cold Arctic air with gusty winds and locally heavy lake snows will arrive by the middle of next week... most likely the coldest air of the winter season. Stay tuned for later forecasts.
