Arena Racing? Yep. Drivers race real, one-half-scale stock cars-capable of speeds up to 100 mph (if run outdoors) on a custom-designed, 1/10th mile, high-banked, indoor race track. The track is portable and fits inside the confines of a hockey rink. Because Arena Racing™ is held indoors weather is never a factor! Each Arena Racing ™ series event includes up to four qualifying heats and four main races, as well as a Top Dog championship race.
The average speed of each car is 50 mph, and drivers average 10 seconds to complete a lap, and drivers range from up-and-coming professionals to weekend speed-junkies looking to live a dream. Because Arena Racing™ is “spec class” racing, every car must adhere exactly to league rules for build and performance. This ensures that no team has a mechanical advantage. The season runs from mid-October to mid-March.
