About Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?

Class is back in session for the second season of the A+ hit quiz show ARE YOU SMARTER THAN A 5th GRADER?. Acclaimed comedian Jeff Foxworthy is at the head of the class as host of this atypical game show, which measures adults' lack of knowledge - as revealed by how much they've forgotten since grammar school. For Season Two, the show enrolls a new class of 5th graders chosen from a nationwide search.

Adult contestants find themselves revisiting the classroom, tackling subjects they've already been taught - from art to geography and math to social studies. The test questions, derived from actual textbooks used in the 1st through 5th grades, are similar to the following:
2nd Grade Health: What is the largest and heaviest organ in the human body?
3rd Grade English: True or False: "Wow," "gosh," and "darn" are examples of interjections.
5th Grade Math: What does 2 cubed equal?
5th Grade Social Studies: Of the current U.S. holidays, which was made an official federal holiday most recently?

When the questions prove to be challenging, as they inevitably do, the contestants are not alone; there is a way to "cheat" in this classroom. Adults can get some elementary help by using a "peek," "copy" or "save" from actual 5th- grade classmates to determine the correct a-n-s-w-e-r and graduate toward the top prize of $1 million.

Additionally, this season the show will find out which celebrity contestants are smarter than 5th graders when they compete for their favorite charity.
